Antenatal Care

Childhood Vaccinations
We provide a comprehensive childhood vaccination service. All infants are entitled to receive the scheduled childhood vaccines free of charge through our practice. Blood Tests
We provide a daily phlebotomy service for a wide array of blood tests aimed at investigation, diagnosis and monitoring. Routine blood test results are typically available within 7-10 days. In the event that further discussion is necessary, your doctor will contact you to address the results.
Cervical Check
The National Cervical Screening Programme offers complimentary smear tests to women aged 25 to 60. This quick and straightforward procedure detects high risk HPV and early access to Colposcopy. We kindly request our patients to register with the Cervical Screening Programme to benefit from this essential service.
Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy is used to treat and remove a variety of benign skin conditions, such as warts, verrucae and skin tags. This treatment involves local application of Liquid Nitrogen to ‘freeze’ the affected area. It can take regular applications to be effective, so we often require a series of visits for full treatment.
Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Programme
If you have a medical card or GP visit card and have one or more of the following conditions; Type 2 diabetes, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or cardiovascular disease, you can opt in for the ‘CDM programme’. We will invite you for biannual consultations to ensure we are managing this condition optimally.
Contraception Services (free for 17-31)
If you are in the age group of 17 to 31, you have access to complimentary contraception services, ensuring your reproductive health needs are met. We can provide an assessment to discuss the most suitable contraceptive options for you, all associated prescriptions and follow-up appointments.
Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC)
LARC, an acronym for long-acting reversible contraception, is a highly effective contraceptive approach. It include options such as the progesterone only Implant or Intra-Uterine System IUS. These methods offer prolonged protection (3-10 years) and can be useful in managing heavy menstrual bleeding.
Menopause Management
Menopause is officially diagnosed 12 months after a woman’s last period. The period leading up to and following this milestone can have a profound impact on a woman’s physical well-being.
